Data Privacy Statement
Mail2Contact is designed as a privacy-oriented application. In High Data Privacy mode, pasted text stays in the browser on your computer; contact detection and vCard download run locally. In server mode, text is sent to the currently operated Mail2Contact server for analysis. WhatsApp, SMS, email and web-card links transmit data only when you actively open them.
- High Data Privacy processes text locally in the browser.

- Server responses use No-Store, X-Frame-Options, Nosniff and Referrer-Policy.
- Uploads and input text have size limits.
How the app works
You paste an email signature, copied email text or a file. Mail2Contact looks for names, companies, phone numbers, email addresses, websites and addresses. Detected people are shown as tabs so multiple footers can be reviewed quickly.
High Data Privacy
When the switch is active, the browser analyzes the text locally. This is the recommended mode for especially sensitive emails because the content is not sent to the server.
Server mode
Server mode remains available for more complex detection, file imports and future team features. In an online version, this mode means data is transferred to the Mail2Contact server.
Extract contacts
Paste an email signature or copied email text and click Extract contact. If multiple footers are found, multiple contacts are shown.
Confidence score
Green fields were detected with high confidence, yellow fields should be reviewed, and red fields are missing or uncertain.
Share
You can download vCards, share web business cards, use WhatsApp, SMS and email links, or copy the contact text.
Files
Text, .eml, .msg and .txt files up to 2.5 MB are supported. Outlook drag-and-drop is not always available, so upload and copy-paste are included.
